that goes double for people on the hypermobility spectrum (and not everyone knows they are on the hypermobility spectrum -- no one told me until my 40's).
Chiropractic adjustments can cause strokes in otherwise healthy individuals.

On a personal note, a family member had a chiropractic adjustment and it took a back injury from "not great" to "requiring surgery". They were disabled for years.

I was also really pleased to discover an extra pack of these 'symptomatic hypermobility' cards - and the plain ones too - as I thought I was nearly out of them!

After reading 10000+ hours of old creepypasta I’ve figured out the hack to making a creepypasta sexyman so here we go: this is homocidal Ben, his disrespectfully portrayed condition that makes him snap and kill people is his IBS / hypermobility, he wears a hoodie and khakis. he was sad as a teenager

I wish hypermobility were as sexy as it sounds and not "Oops I stepped wrong so now I can't walk normally for the rest of the day."

But physically I feel the most strong and active as I've ever been. I'm not in pain every day. Still have some wear and tear from damage and hypermobility issues though, but it's not nearly as bad.

getting back into PT/exercise after 6 months off due to surgery and lots of other crazy body stuff and working out is actually so fucking painful but getting strong will help with hypermobility chronic pain so just gotta keep going

U could potentially have just regular hypermobility OR it could be EDS
October 31, 2026 at 12:38 AM
has anyone heard of a doctor who takes hypermobility seriously without telling you it's just your knee bending a little far btw

Also like if you didn’t already know this, random difficulty with swallowing CAN be a symptom of hypermobility and hEDS, so like… if this happens to you and you didn’t know that, now you do!
yall ever forget how to swallow and just kinda sit there like… prepared to die 💀

The bruise on our clavicle I realize is probably, from sleeping funny and hypermobility occuring. I think that's the first time I really paid attention enough to see bruises, at least, that close to the surface. (It's fine by the way!)

Hypermobility sucks. I apparently subluxed at least 2 ribs last night. The pain bypassed monitoring levels so I didn't realize until 1pm that it was ribs out that was causing focus issues & crankiness & tired at work. Thought it was only one.
