They are absolutely gonna try and use that to rationalize making hormones unavailable. Cass already tries to repathologize being trans as a MH condition.

What’s she’s describing is literally in the exclusion criteria for ICD11 gender Incongruence. You cannot be diagnosed with that and have a ‘fetish’ it’s literally exclusionary to be able to access transition related care in the UK

It's usurped "gender dysphoria" and is very explicitly *not* treated as a pathology.

Being trans isn’t a pathology. That’s official - ICD11 says so.
So why do I have to answer endless questions about who I am, how I see myself and so on… just to access healthcare that’s proven to be safe* and effective?

Last summer my (cisgender) friend was able to access (free) HRT within less than a week of making a GP appointment.
It took me 10 months, £600 to skip the years-long NHS queue, nearly 4 hours of gatekeeping appointments, and I have ongoing prescription costs.
Why?

Except the diagnosis of Aspergers was removed from the DSM-5 in 2013 and the ICD11 in 2019 and no longer exists. And people either were folded into the diagnostic label of “autism spectrum disorder” or lost their diagnosis completely
