The one thing that makes something an imsim is the default interact button. Is it a mouse button? Imsim. Keyboard key? Not imsim. Myst and Minecraft are imsims, PREY is not. Excel, believe it or not, is an imsim.

Marathon isn't deathmatch gone wide, it's multiplayer Alien: Isolation and every other player is a xenomorph
Marathon may be an a multiplayer extraction shooter but stealth gamers who like Alien: Isolation and Thief will find much to like in its sci-fi swamps.
