Just installed my first ever controller mod by myself! It was a bit scary since DSiXLs aren’t exactly the cheapest things but honestly, the insideGadgets system is really intuitive and beginner friendly! Only one small hiccup with a single connection to the LEFT control pad, but super easy fix!

lol I found an eBay listing with the same chip layout, guess there's a design out there to mop up old Altera chip stock and LRG just added their own silkscreen on the back. Shame bc there's new designs, could have contracted insidegadgets to make a batch.

I checked and apparently the ereader ROM is only 8MB which is quite smaller than the max 32MB, so it might be doable. There are 32MB GBA flash carts available from places like insidegadgets
