Today I tried to film one of the new(ish) DSB @talgo.com sets from #Copenhagen 🇩🇰 to #Hamburg 🇩🇪 but ALL sets have failed, except the 8am, so I am onboard this IR4 to the border, then a 2.5h bus Absolutely atrocious reliability AGAIN from the Spanish builder 😭 #NonstopEurotrip

Two prototypes for IR4 - Deutschmeister. Two different approaches to doing the white which leads me to conclude that I can’t tell the difference! Improved over the first regiment though. Do we know what white uniforms looked like after a month on the march?

Museon jälkeen otin ensimmäisen junan kohti Kööpenhaminaa. Kahden yhteenkytketyn IR4-yksikön Intercity oli vähän myöhässä, joten ehdin siihen. Sitten VR:n operoima Øresundståg Ruotsiin. Ekasta junasta puuttui puolikas, joten en jaksanut tunkea kyytiin. Vartin päästä seuraavassa oli hyvin tilaa.

In my opinion, the seats on the IC3 and IR4 are the best I've ever sat in on a train. Comfortable & separately adjustable headrest & seat, and the space between the seats can be used to store luggage. #AaLborgK

Zusätzlich auffallend bei beiden Beispielen: Kein Plastik an den Sitzschalen. Sie sind beidseitig mit Stoff verkleidet, im Bereich der Tischchen wird Metall und/oder Holz(imitat?) eingesetzt. Wer sitzt, hat warme Materialien im Blickfeld statt abweisenden Kunststoff.
