Yesterday I had the pleasure of meeting Shawn McIntosh, retired from the @ajc.com and an @ire.org legend.

She helped start NICAR!

And once programmed a machine-learning algorithm to identify probable abuse cases among thousands of possible leads so that she could investigate them. #IRE25

Please join me in congratulating my boss Kevin Keeshan, who will be inducted into the @ire.org Ring of Honor on Saturday.

At the end of June, Keeshan will retire after 47 years as a journalist!

He has been an incredible mentor for me and so many other people. #IRE25
