I wish Nginx Proxy Manager could be natively configured in a High Availability environment. I use Keepalived, which works great when I need to reboot a node, but when I need to upgrade NPM on the master container, keepalived will not swap unless I disconnect the container from the network.

Just setup highly available DNS for my home network with 2 PiHole instances and Keepalived. Now if one of my machines goes down (intentionally or otherwise), the rest of the network seamlessly keeps on kicking. 99.999999999% uptime!

I've finally installed DietPi on my Raspberry Pi 4 to run a second instance of Pi-hole + Unbound in parallel to my trusty Raspi 2 that's been blocking ads for more than 5 years. The two instances now sync via nebula-sync and share a virtual IP using keepalived. Actually pretty easy to set up.

手元に一つk8sクラスタあると便利なので会社で組み始めてるけどなかなか楽しいな。kube-vipあればkeepalivedもmetallbもいらない。ただ、一つずつ確認しながらなので一式揃うのにちと手間かかる。

keepalived で冗長化された haproxy での letsencrypt 証明書自動更新を仕掛けるのがしんどすぎる
- 証明書更新時に ポート80 が解放されてなければならない
- 名前でリクエストに行くので、keepalived を両方止めなきゃならない
- keepalived を両方止めると名前で引けなくなる（vip がなくなる）
こういう制約があるので、更新を本番運用中に自動で障害なくできる気がしない
証明書買ってくれー

- 名前でリクエストに行くので、keepalived を両方止めなきゃならない

Been there, wanted something more programatic, and can handle more than just basic records.
I just setup a pair of clustered Technitium servers, and performance is much better. Keepalived might be next on my list.

Just wrapped standing up a 3-node Technitium cluster using Keepalived to issue a VIP for split horizon DNS for one of my domains with the added bonus of network-wide adblock.

keepalived, des bons healthchecks (la fréquence des checks à 30s sur un backend, c'est beaucoup trop haut à mon avis), deux-trois instances et tu as une config qui sera très difficile à faire tomber ;-)
