Just a gentle heads up, Bandcamp Friday is this week Friday, where the platform waives its fees.
I *do* have a new-ish album out at killcrop.bandcamp.com that may be worth picking up.

So I’ve decided I am going to put solo Killcrop work on standby for a year and instead spend the next year focusing on collaboration.
The collab with Kilbuck for the Electronic Saviors album was so fun, I think it’s best to let it ride.
Got several different collabs in the works already.

Shit it dropped today! There's still a few hours of Bandcamp Friday left!

Today is the last Bandcamp Friday of the year so I suppose it’s as good of a time as any to pump the album I released back in October.
It’s the first time I really pushed myself to try and do vocals right and stop burying them in the mix.

This remix is turning into one of the most fun, loosely-structured, gonzo-techno things with vaguely ominous but mostly cozy instrumentation. Mostly though, kinda a total exploding of the source into something familiar but unknown.
A bit of a zig AND a zag. Killcrop v @badacidcult.bsky.social

Seriously it is such an honor to get to be a part of this. This compilation series, in addition to being a favorite of mine since its inception, is an opportunity for people to do some collective good with their art. Being on the same compilation with some of my favorite bands is a trip!

What the hell, how about I just go ahead and just jump the gun a bit and let you all hear the track I’ve been working on.

I am thinking that I might try a classic A-Side/B-Side format, with the B-Side usually being more of a techno-y instrumental or other deviation from the main...maximalist...style of Killcrop.
In fact, I think I am more excited about the first B-Side. Time to fire up this MC-707 and learn it!
