Yeah there is already a "super positive and loving" Kyrptonian in the DCU and that is Kal/Clark.
There are people praising CW Supergirl but while that show was running I do remember people hating how moral preachy positive Kara tended to be.

This is actually a plot point in the very first Superman comic where a prototype of General Zod appears (I think it's called The Three Kyrptonian Super-Criminals). Superman literally fights off the 3 villains while also juggling keeping the buildings from collapsing.

To me as a coder that sounds like "if you tell idk the average Kyrptonian their planet is going to explode they will find that offensive and I'm not sure there's a coherent way to tell them that's wrong".
