this is what the Combahee River Collective taught us. It's a lesson many many people refuse.
Also, all politics is identity politics on some level. White male straight Christian is an identity and drives a lot of policy choices!

the lesson of Platner is, "don't nominate unvetted candidates."

the lesson of Stevens and Fetterman is, "don't nominate hardcore Zionists."
a lot of ppl ask, "why?" re Fetterman and Stevens, and come up with a range of answers. but I think the big thing is that they're Zionists, and Zionism is not really compatible with multi racial democracy. Ideology is a powerful motivator.

Stevens And Fetterman Are Not Motivated By Mental Illness

I, for one, would just like to thank Haley Stevens for making my lesson planning for tomorrow’s Strategic Political Communication seminar so much easier. ✅

The other day, Trump said "Canada is learning its lesson". He's not wrong. We are learning our lesson. That lesson is to walk away from his his s-hole administration and forge our own path, and working with much more reliable partners worldwide. We're learning to stop being dependent on the US.

The lesson of Patrick Stewart is to take the work seriously, even when it’s silly work, but never take yourself seriously. You can’t go wrong following that example

1. It’s not a visiting professorship in gender studies. I guess that’s not so much reading comprehension as you are very bad at research.

2. What is bad reading comprehension is assuming that I was surprised. That’s nowhere in my remarks.

Trump sued the Wall Street Journal over a story tying him to Jeffrey Epstein.

A judge tossed it.

He refiled.

Saturday, the same judge threw it out for good… and called the case "grasping at straws."

Lesson: anger isn't a legal strategy.
