The only debt limit deal Ds should agree to is to eliminate it entirely — or at minimum suspend it for a decade.

It is only used to extort policy concessions under threat of permanently damaging the country, & it only works because everyone knows Rs are reckless enough to actually pull the trigger.

After two+ years of conspiracy theories that Trump staged the assassination attempt in Butler, he's now declaring it a Democratic plot to get him out of the 2024 race. Why a Democratic plot would hire an inexperienced and untrained shooter as opposed to an actual assassin remains unasked.
