If you never saw the cartoon, that droid below belongs to Lestrade and is nicknamed Watson. Future Lestrade jokes her Droid should read all the stories of his namesake and after they rejuvinate Holmes's royal bee jelly preserved body, the Droid starts behaving like he IS Watson

So for three mornings the mystery remained, so far as I could follow it in the papers. If Holmes knew more, he kept his own counsel, but, as he told me that Inspector Lestrade had taken him into his confidence in the case,

I feel bad for my boy Lestrade… Dick Gumshoe feels like a more caricatured version of him… a guy who’s trying his best, is a bit dumb and can’t catch a break but is able to sometimes able to sometimes find key evidence by accident that smarter people overlook in their rush to a conclusion

Also unfortunate that Lestrade was issued a pot bellied Nigel Bruce model Droid and not a svelte, sexy David Burke-bot

Holmes, resurrected from the 19th century: "and for men?"
robot Watson: "that rather depends on the man"
who knew robot Watson was a feminist icon??

There's a bit in the Sherlock baseball AU where Lestrade snaps that they're going to write their memoirs and call them "How We Were Gay and Right About Everything" and I love this line so much, I want you to understand how many shenanigans I'm going through to keep it lol
