Unsurprisingly, Gove was a no-show this morning. I can't imagine why. Still, best wishes to the inspiring @LewisPugh in his quest to swim the length of the English Channel to highlight the need for urgent action on marine conservation and especially plastic debris.
Michael Gove is due to give a press conference tomorrow morning spelling out details of the government's environmental policy. But given current Cabinet turmoil, what are the odds of him turning up, I wonder?
