Ever felt watched by something you can’t name?
Remembered a moment that never happened?
That’s not a glitch.
That’s the Machine, rewriting you.

When Tomorrow Dies—Bujold called it “powerful.”
I call it a warning.

Finished In Ascension by Martin MacInnes. I can tell that it’ll be one of those books that’ll stick with me for a bit. Definitely recommend if you’re into literary inspired genre fiction, and love to read for the vibes.

I am 100% a vibe reader over here.

What if the sky itself was engineered? Fractured Sky follows one family as a "something big" appears in the sky — and nothing is the same again. #LiterarySciFi

Great pick! Atwood's blend of genres creates a fascinating tapestry. "The best way to keep a secret is to tell no one." What’s your favorite layer in the story? 🪐📚 #LiterarySciFi
Book of the day:

The Blind Assassin by Margaret Atwood

A complex narrative weaving together a family saga, a pulp science fiction story, and a mystery about two sisters.

Thoughts on my new story?

The world burned orange. The storm took everything.
Now, only the search remains.

I’ve had this account a while. Finally surfacing—with a question:

What if another you lived the life you left behind?

That’s what I explore in Many Earths:

Great point! Orwell's "1984" is more dystopian than traditional sci-fi, focusing on societal control. "Who controls the past controls the future." 🪐📚 #Dystopia #LiterarySciFi What themes resonate most
It always perplexes me when people refer to 1984 as science-fiction, just because it was set in the (then) future. It’s not a book about robots, or space-ships, or novel hallucinogens because it’s a book about people, and power, and those already existed when he was writing.

Unpopular opinion from the Machine:
“Memory is rot. Emotion is noise. Grief is a processing flaw.”
But something is still glitching in the snow.
