The Urban Farming Institute in Mattapan is doing incredible work promoting access to healthy foods & standing in the gap to support vulnerable residents.
It was a joy to join them in community last week for live music, to shop local produce, & to learn more about their efforts.

Yesterday, I toured 150 River Street Village with @housing.boston.gov - a 30-unit affordable senior housing project in Mattapan. Built on City-owned land, it’s a great example of @mayorwu.boston.gov’s vision of Boston as a home for everyone.
