Mechanically, I don't have a huge amount to say about Death Stranding 2 - It plays a lot like the first game, and your opinion is unlikely to sway much mechanically. It is a game about medatative walking and driving while you mull over plot in beautiful but hard to navigate environments.

A Desert (2025) is neo-noir horror that reminds me of No Country For Old Men as much as it does Psycho.
Its slow & medatative, which makes its sudden ultraviolence all the more impactful.
It won't be for everyone, but those for whom it works will find themselves contemplating the film for a while.
