In my Shining Dark setting, I don’t have super weapons… but I do have hallowed saints who martyred themselves to become a gothic megacity’s power grid.

Yeah! The city is literally perched atop layers and layers of ancient ruins reaching back millennia, and new openings are found all the time. It's the source of nearly all the megacity's industry. There's a lot to be found down there! Unfortunately most of it is horrible and scary and undead.

It isn't that simple. But the beauty of congestion pricing, and a liberal economy and money system, is that all of the complicated particulars of a megacity's worth of drivers dealing with the inconveniences of congestion pricing can be boiled down to a simple figure which is $9
