#minatory
I think about the fact that when Senators or any other person in the government targets/talks about furrys it is ALWAYS under the guise of either homophobia or transphobia. The fact furry is "weird" to the average joe makes it easier to pin it on minatory groups like that and its DISGUISING
I know “haha funny furries” but that’s a sitting US Senator standing next to a podium labeled “Transgenderism Is A Mental Disease” so I’m not really sure all these cis people should be crackin’ up here
Tommy Tuberville: Many airline pilots, flight attendants, and air traffic controllers are part of the furry community. It's terrifying.

Saying that someone can't be trans is a bit like Putin saying that Ukraine does not exist. Its an expression of minatory intent rather than a belief.

"All" and "everyone's" "rights" is a veiled, minatory reference to the rights of the religious bigots that they are prioritising over everyone else.

Would be nice if large institutions thought through their optics tho. At my local station there's a large minatory poster warning passengers that if their purchased ticket's on their phone & the phone runs out of juice, they'll be fined £100. Next to the barriers the staff ignore people jumping.

I hate how people out there who are rich corporate shills want to shove AI down our throats demanding it a minatory thing for all of us cause we have no choice to use it. If I use AI it to learn how to do something better and for ideas not to be spoon fed against my will to control what we do >.<

On my fungi foray, I discovered you can stretch the #OverlandTrack out as far as Penguin, by doing the Penguin Cradle Trail. Lots of fungi, but also the odd #orchid, and with so many Bassian thrushes about, #snail shells! Awesome to walk beneath these ancient tree ferns! #Tasmania #nature #forest

Hans in black is fucking beautiful. He is a definitely beautiful Prince on the ice. I can feel Henry's body is very big and thick🥰 The Prince on the Ice has a flexible body...💙✨ The Pose is so dramatic and sexy~ And I like their O-face...And you know, Henry's hockey stick is bloody minatory~!! "Hope" is noncommittal but doesn't have the same minatory connotations as "change."

First bbq of 2026. In the best tradition, rain was and then wasn't forecast and the sky is currently minatory.

The government in #China doesn't need a new law to do whatever it likes in all corners of the country but this new law is seen as a means of mobilizing Party cadres, sending a message out that assimilation of minatory ethnic groups is to proceed at speed.

Why is China set to approve a new law promoting 'ethnic unity'?
A law that could threaten the rights of minority groups is a sign of the direction Xi is taking China.

I'm halfway through a third rewrite and, so far, it has the juice! One thing- I need to remove one use of the word "minatory," since it's in there twice and is really a once-a-book kind of word. Onward and upward!

Do authors keep lists of weird words they *must* use? Here are a few I’ve come across lately:

phatic, soixante-huitards, inquorate, gallimaufry, murine, craquelure, ormolu, fetor, minatory, menhir, pleonasm, buxological, embonpoint, clafouti, nacoluthon, catachresis, enthymeme.
