Built in 1929 the Baker Hotel in Mineral Wells TX, was closed in 1972. Haunted by the mistress of the hotel manager who jumped to her death in the 1950's. When the night air is still it is said that her screams can be heard as she falls to her death.

I found out about the Baker while planning a road trip with friends in 2013. They requested the trip not revolve entirely around theaters, so I included several stops at non theater spots, like the Baker. #texas #historicbuilding #mineralwells #abandoned

If you’re tall, or can stretch your camera over your head for a photo, you can see inside what I believe to be an exam room of some sort.

All I know is the place was abandoned and it had a creepy vibe even before I made this picture.
