Respectfully, you are misinformed on how our monetary system works. The federal gov’t doesn’t need tax $ for funding; it creates $ as Congress sends legislation that needs funding. It’s the issuer of currency not user.

Means that the US creates all of its money out of thin air. In no real way do they "borrow." Spooky, but it's worked well since 1971 when Nixon ditched the gold standard. Check "The Deficit Myth" by Stephanie Kelton.
