Really enjoying multifilament printing on my Bambu printer. 3.25 hour print time, came out perfect. 3 filament changes mid-stream, I never heard a peep.

I think I made progress in dialing in the tension for my racket strings. I’m hitting with head velocity multifilament at 53 pounds. pretty comfortable and controllable

I do center tapped windings with multifilament wire, so I only have to wind it once. I'm sure this is a bad idea because <bla bla bla>

What are you using to do the multifilament? I've been getting into resin printing this past week, which I'm finding so much more reliable than my FDM but envious of the multicolor stuff I'm seeing!

Next up we have MFP rope (Polypropylene Multifilament) which I have bought from @agreeableagony.bsky.social I have about 4, 30 foot bundles of each. The best way to describe MFP rope is very silky smooth and soft. I tend to use the vet a lot when I'm wearing a dark clothing & I want the ropeto pop.

Continuing to experiment with Meshy to create 3D versions of characters I've designed. For a lot of pictures the results are terrible in unpredictable ways, but the design of Elayle actually matched the picture pretty well. The left print was done using 5-color multifilament print. #art #3dprint #oc

the new multifilament strings at higher than average tension performed really well at the doubles mixer tonight. I was getting good feel at the net and good topspin on the groundstrokes. the only negative from tonight was some bad news about a whirlybird at our nation's capitol

Don’t let them convince you to put polyester string in. Go for a soft synthetic multifilament like a Wilson NXT, Babolat XCel or Technifibre X-1 BiPhase

Si tu as cette possibilité, oui, le multifilament est une option très sympa, même si c'est lent et coûteux en filament. On se rapproche encore davantage des systhétiseurs de Star Trek !
