Ontwikkelaar FromSoftware heeft bevestigd dat de exclusieve multiplayergame niet meer in 2026 verschijnt en de release verschuift naar 2027. Een concrete releasedatum ontbreekt voorlopig, waardoor het nog onduidelijk is wanneer spelers met het project aan de slag kunnen. Volgens de studio biedt het uitstel extra tijd om de belangrijkste spelelementen verder te verfijnen, met bijzondere aandacht voor de gevechten, strategische diepgang en vrijheid van de speler. Ook wil het team de spelregels en balans verder bijschaven om de ervaring bij de lancering zo goed mogelijk te maken.
