Good point. The Classified Information Procedures Act (CIPA) defines classified information, and materials are a subset of that definition pertaining to things that can be analyzed. Classified Material has been defined in previous presidential executive orders and in the NISPOM.

I have a basic-ass bare-bones Brother b&w printer and, speaking as someone who has actually been trained in NISPOM and other info/sec stuff, still don’t feel confident in using it to generate any sort of direct-action material.

It really doesn’t work like that. They’re using the illusion of authority and social engineering to gain access. But, absence legal authority which Trump can’t give, as he cannot waive either FISMA or NISPOM - he’s committing high crimes as a result.

Seems likely there's some conspiracy to defraud the United States going on here, based off of likely false attestations that they're complying with NISPOM contractual requirements. Hard to imagine how they couldn't be unless public reporting is completely fabricated.

I don’t think that’s applicable in this case. NISPOM governs security policies for contractors. The black letter requirement is immediate reporting to the FSO and the cognizant agency, which was appears to have been illegally interfered with.
It’s National Security, not contract law now.

Until the employee was forced to resign, his clearance should have been suspended. But now, this is NISPOM meaning the entire company is at risk. The Security Officer and HR will have to produce all the records in the timeline that led to this
