Steller's Jays on the sandy ground in a backyard in the southwestern US, there is a tube feeder laying on the ground where it fell. Dawn Patrol photos around 5AM. I didn't have my tripod with me, so these are all handheld with my 35mm 1.4 lens. These select balloons take flight right before dawn and give the rest of the balloonists a heads up on wind conditions.
