"NEMURO", Hokkaido Prefecture.
Nemuro is the easternmost city on Hokkaido's mainland. This pennant is from Cape Nosappu, the easternmost point of Hokkaido.
Length 60cm (23.6in). This pennant was produced around the 1970s or 1980s. #vintage

The 1930 Cape Nosappu #Lighthouse on #Hokkaidō, #Japan, has been designated a civil engineering heritage site. The tower stands on the site of the first lighthouse on Hokkaidō, a wooden tower built in 1872.
