Our research compares the emission intensity of hydrogen production using coal and gas.
Only #hydrogen produced from gas with a high capture rate of 90% is below the #CertifHy #emissions threshold.

The emissions intensity of fossil-fuel based hydrogen production systems are substantial, even with carbon capture.
Based on CertifHy, only hydrogen produced from natural gas with a high carbon-capture rate could be called “low-carbon” hydrogen. https://www.certifhy.eu/

When it comes to heat, some jobs are much more dangerous. Greater risk occurred for those in the agriculture, forestry and fishing, construction, electricity, gas and water sectors.
