The legal skirmish between Apple and OpenAI has taken yet another turn. Only days after OpenAI charged Apple with improperly adding new arguments to the trade secrets dispute, the iPhone maker has answered in kind, contending that it is OpenAI and its co-defendants who have strayed beyond the boundaries the court permits. The lawsuit was brought by Apple against two former employees, Chang Liu and Tang Tan, together with OpenAI and io Products, on allegations that they misappropriated trade secrets.

can definitely become an issue of people overstepping what should in some cases remain boundaries, because what is actually going to come of it? nobody knows, but anger and condemnation often often wrongfoot us because our pattern recognition or emotions can overcome that - and then at some point

I think you could ask for more without being considered overstepping but you need to do what's comfortable for you!!!
One on one hang outs or asking for a separate smaller game night over discord could also be a temporary stop gap that's easier to set up without ppl having to commit too hard

I'm never quite sure if I'm overstepping my bounds with these kinds of things, but I wanted to say that I genuinely hope you feel better. From some of the things you've talked about/reposted it seems like a rough headspace to be in, and I hope you're able to make it out soon. 🫂

What I think happens is that these people have atleast on or two bad experiences with someone who was genuinely overstepping boundaries and trying to get them to write stuff they didn't want to. and then they project that one bad experience onto the wholleeeee community
