#parcels
his face isn't on the packaging though is it? it's in the passport and they've already done that but the packaging iirc just showed that gold seal

plus the argument i have here with matt is "do passport parcels really get thrown out" not "why did they do this change"

I'm very aware, it was *parcels* that shocked me, as you'll see later in this thread

<<involving "explosive" parcels, which, according to the investigation, may have been organized on the orders of Russian special services.

Yeah, I get that. I think this happens when there isn't even a sorting into parcels.

I agree without even needing an explanation for this tbh it's just parcels specifically that make me act a bit incredulous

Situated in the heart of North Carolina’s agricultural belt, the tribe’s parcels sit beside transmission corridors, offering a geographic advantage that remains untapped because developers lack clear, tribe‑specific leasing frameworks.

Though the current data center ordinance significantly cut down the amount of available parcels for potential data centers from 179 to 16, we know there are still improvements to be made.

"do people regularly throw away unopened mail parcels when they're knowingly expecting govt documents?"

Yes!
October 1, 2026 at 2:49 PM
I really doubt for example that people are "missing passports because the package is not obvious enough", do people regularly throw away unopened mail parcels when they're knowingly expecting govt documents?

Non-EU designers/publishers in the MB/CB space, hit me up if you want to find a way around this BS. Pit Trap Shop is the official EU store for Forbidden Psalm, it could be that for more people. A single €5 for a pallet is better than hundreds of €5 for small parcels.
Heads up to everyone who sells to the EU: from November 1st, the EU is introducing a new €2 customs handling fee per customs line, on top of the €3 duty fee that came in a couple of months ago. Each item will now cost a flat €5 before we even get into VAT!

A sunny day for the Dublin - Belfast train... what I think is a parcels coach is looking quite retro.

I’ve been fed up with Evri not delivering my zooplus parcels and started using DHL since they’ve added that option recently- “come outside, there’s nowhere to park” phone call today. I’m really trying to be sympathetic, but how’s that my problem? What about people who can’t come outside?

I * think * that’s inside industry talk for hand moisturiser.
Handling parcels all day really does cause chapped hands and whatnot, according to my mate down the pub.

“the previous owner had been denied a request to sever the lot into two parcels” 😮‍💨

Bloody awful company, I've had nothing but problems whenever they deliver parcels to me I don't understand why
companies/people still use them.

But for us, every day is Defenders Day.

This week, we put our big projects aside to close small requests from soldiers. You've raised $14,606 and closed 3 of 39 parcels.

Next up: Starlinks for Mahno. Donate with the "no preference" option: dzygaspaw.com/defenders-d...

Okay, I'm at the point where delivering parcels has to go and I'm shifting my energy into becoming a proper part-time creator/streamer (with another goal beyond that).

- Intention set.
- Five years of reps in the bag.
- 81 trees donated.

Let's do it! 🌳

Also, surely the parcels should be locked away and only accessible by a code sent to the buyer. Otherwise people would just walk behind the robot and take them?

needs way more legs if it's carrying parcels too lol. I feel sorry for the damn thing and I shouldn't.

Just seen Evri are testing their own AI delivery bots. I guarantee that thing will find a way to incinerate my parcels

The parcel tax does not apply solely to parcels from countries outside the European Union ? 🤔
October 1, 2026 at 10:45 AM
Shipping data is exactly what delivery scammers need: a fake "missed delivery" text that matches a real parcel. Don't follow links in delivery messages.
