the "tradwives" were fundie influencers before the name took off. To a one, the families are hideously dysfunctional, obvious even through their spin. The dads are deadbeat moochers & often abusive; the kids are parentified and uneducated; the "tradwives" have zero traditional housewife skills...
Something I've always thought about tradwife stuff is that the only possible men who could have the situation and make it work and not have it be hideously screwed up are basically the men who absolutely do not want it at all and think that it's horribly backwards.

I was parentified emotionally for both parents.
They needed me.

But again I also think of hybristophila in regards to ppl who are marginalized but been groomed/parentified/ faced some developmental trauma that inhibits their ability to percieve threats..some are attracted TO ppl that seem scary. Cuz it feels familiar.

There's very many ppl "who hate kids" who have alot of contempt about being parentified. And instead of fixing the problem they just keep lying and trying to turn generations against each other and making class warfare more harsh.

There's something about parental joy that enrages adults who feel like they were cheated out of it when they got parentified.
Haunted by the interaction with one abuser who kept negging me and I wouldn't respond and kept focusing on my kids and shining brighter. And literally watched him morph into his hyde version, get viscerally angry and say "why do u just keep smiling?"
