I finally ran a 220 volt circuit to my air compressor. I also put in dedicated air lines using a kit from Northern Tool & couldn’t resist some home automation. Hand turned walnut bowl I made many years ago. Hand turned bubinga wood gavel and sound block I made for my Dad as a goof when he was President of his local Antique Car Club Chapter. Hand turned, segmented Cherry wood yarn bowl I made for my wife a few Christmas’s ago. Hand turned cherry wood handles for a pizza cutter and spatula displayed on a cherry and maple pizza peel. The hardware was from Rockler.

First coats of Totalboat Halcyon on the #coffeetable. I’m planning 2 coats of amber gloss followed by a coat or 2 of clear satin. Water based, easy to apply, and looks great so far.

Completed walnut legs itch 2 curved sides and mortises for rails to support the top and to capture the corners of the bottom shelf. Just final sanding, edge treatment, and a little fine tuning of the mortises Cutting inside curves on the bandsaw. I used blue tape so I could see pencil lines since they were nearly invisible on the black walnut Cutting mortises. Blue tape used to be able to see layout lines. A fence and 1-2-3 block clamped to it ensured repeatability of the mortise location Four 2-1/2 inch square by 18 inch long walnut legs itch blanks.
