I still get thrills seeing books, movies, and albums that I own on other peoples’ shelves. They’re micro-discoveries of found-family ties, shortcuts to shared connections, and a granting of permission to peer into someone’s brain and ask questions.

My 3-year-old spotted my old Iron Giant poster and asked to watch the movie. It's not readily available on any of the streaming services we have. So in case you're wondering if a 20+-year-old DVD works in a PS5, it does! #physicalmediarules

Indulged myself and bought the DVDs for seasons 1-25 of #SouthPark tonight. It’s my reward for suffering through another colonoscopy or as Trey Parker and Matt Stone would say: “Tommy gets anal probed” 😂😂😂 #PhysicalMediaRules

Time to bust out these classics again, to celebrate the early work of two legends, one miraculously still alive, the other taken from us tragically senselessly infuriatingly far too soon. #RobReiner #DickVanDyke #PhysicalMediaRules

Back when Cereal Prizes meant something.

This is a #cartoonnetwork CD of #ScoobyDoo and the Toon Tour of Mysteries! I've had this for almost 20 years and it's a key portion of my childhood.

CeX Holloway done. Three orders and a pretty full suitcase already. We've got more bags, no worries. One more for today. I realise now how much I miss CeX stores in The Netherlands. And proper airconditioning on buses. 🥵#PhysicalMedia #PhysicalMediaForever #PhysicalMediaRules

Sensory overload and a crash course in public transport. We're in Londen. Luckily, it's not nearly as crowded in the rest of London as it was around St. Pancreas Station. We picked up our order at CeX Islington. On our way to CeX Holloway for the largest order. The bus is frikkin HOT! #PhysicalMedia

Victory! Splitting the order in two worked. Most of the orders have now been placed, collected and ready to be picked up. Just a few more. I'll finally have all of Scrubs (minus the spinoff season and the revival). #PhysicalMedia #PhysicalMediaForever #PhysicalMediaRules

It's a pity, but I'll have a decent amount of physical games to play when PS3 is no longer online. Now let's see about backing up Ico, Deus Ex: The Conspiracy, Echodrome and Syberia 1 and 2, amongst a few others. #PhysicalMedia #PhysicalMediaForever #PhysicalMediaRules #GameSky #Playstation #PS3
