I saw some folks ( @kateerobert.com & @sharpegirl.bsky.social ) talking about Plottr on threads, so I'm poking at it this morning. Intriguingly thought out software! (The main relevant point for me: it allows online real-time collaboration.)

fascinating! every competing anti-AI writing app (Novlr, Plottr, StoryForge) has.... a public roadmap and/or issue tracker. apparently Ellipsus used to have that but just... removed it? (also, most of them are at a lower price point with more features...)

Scrivener to write and Plottr for outlining and character, settings, research notes, etc. @scrivenerapp.bsky.social is on here now. Plottr I don’t think so yet.

I don't always use this, but I do use it for outlining and reverse outlining for books with multiple subplots or interwoven narratives. I added this to my arsenal in 2022. I got the lifetime version so it only works locally/offline. Right now, Plottr hasn't added any genAI features.
