SSG Gibson could be loud, but he rarely yelled. He would just exude a sense of resigned exasperation.

SSG Mazie (not my plt) didn't yell. She would start using a mocking singsong to make it clear 2nd Plt had failed to hit the mark.

Both of them (and most other drills) set examples to meet.
