Election doomers should really be required to work a primary election as a precinct election worker so they understand how elections in this country actually work. Attending a canvassing board meeting would be good too.

According to my congressman John Mannion, in the Syracuse pollworker incident ICE's Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR) was involved, even though their role is supposed to be looking into *internal* conduct at ICE.

Make sure "provisional ballot" is what it's called in your jurisdiction

The Understanding Clause was a literacy test applied to all races. A provision of the Constitution would be read by the pollworker, and the voter had to explain their understanding. Passing was subjective & Whites were passed while Blacks were not. It helped illiterate White voters.

Ada county is moving to print-on-demand ballots. I'm a pollworker & really looking forward to printer malfunctions slowing down the process. All the more reason to vote early or absentee while we can. Idaho primary deadlines: March 15 - change party affiliation, May 8 - request absentee ballot.
