I have a faith-based, unreviewable belief that heavily genAI-driven academic research would be bad for all of us. The point even in the "hard" sciences should be to transform humans. As @shannonvallor.bsky.social says in her AI Mirror, that's precisely the opposite of what LLMs are built to do.
