i didn't use my record player for like 2 weeks and now it's distractingly slow.
wouldn't be as much of a problem if it isn't tucked into a nook. and if the potentiometer wasn't on the bottom. sigh.

Hate to break it to you, but caps on your sticks only help with grip and wear - they do zero for internal sensor wear or dust. Drift happens inside the potentiometer or spring housing. Taken apart and fixed enough pads to know. I've never heard of anyone claiming it's for drift.

Notes on the wiring: when you're soldering ground connections onto the potentiometer shells, make sure you scratch the hell out of em first. I use the tip of an exacto or boxcutter and crosshatch the spot til it's rough. Make sure the iron is real hot especially if you're using lead-free solder

The generated design combines an I2C relay expander and memories, dual SPI Flash with separate chip-selects, an I2C LCD, potentiometer inputs, and a 4×4 keypad matrix.
