The way Coogler used culture vulturing in SINNERS is so damn good. Remmick’s first couple of songs were dry, boring, and nobody cared for them. As soon as he’s turned some black folk into vampires, “Rocky Road to Dublin” has all this extra seasoning and it’s fuckin lit! Had me bouncin immediately 🤣
