Winning a primary entitles you to that placement on the general election ballot and absolutely nothing else. She has that and nobody’s taken it from her. But nobody is obligated to support you. The state does not command other politicians and party leaders, who are free to make their own decisions.
Montana Dem. Senate nominee Alani Bankhead defends staying in the race in a new op-ed, arguing Democrats should rebuild their brand rather than back independents and accusing party leaders of overriding 49k primary voters.

Only in Alaska. 😂

Two Republicans. Both named Dan Sullivan. Both running for the SAME U.S. Senate seat.

And Mary Peltola is in the race, too.

Imagine opening your ballot and wondering if you’re seeing double.
