#pro-consumer
You do not under any circumstances have to hand it to Neal "American companies shouldn't be held liable for child slavery" Katyal.

He's pro-corporation. He's not pro-human rights or pro-consumer by any stretch.

legislation to force states to allow direct-to-consumer auto sales would be some of the best pro-EV policy possible
Having bought two EVs and a hybrid, I think a big part of America’s sloth in adopt adopting EVs is car dealerships’ management being heavily Republican, and having a business model that relies on repairs that EV‘s don’t need.

unfortunately consumer reports is too busy fearmongering about lead and other heavy metals to do actual pro-consumer reporting </3
BTW, I would really like @consumerreports.org to watch this video and perhaps start breathing down the necks of those big companies for forcing everyone into using pre-dosed products.

That's the opposite of pro-consumer, imo.

One day, yall will learn that "pro business" typically means pro top of the corporate structure, not pro worker. Not pro consumer.

the Times has a much stronger consumer base helped in large part by their games and recipes, but they should really pay attention to what happened to WaPo when the liberal consumer base realized they were explicitly signaling their intention to be pro-Trump

they can and will leave

EA doing something pro-consumer and pro-preservation?????????

Excuse me????????????????
Well, dang. The Command & Conquer series has basically been kept alive by its fans for years, but I didn't expect EA to just hand them all full source code and Steam Workshop support after all these years.

Good on them. Feels similar to what Valve just did with TF2
EA hand Command & Conquer modders the source code for Tiberian Dawn, Renegade, Red Alert and Generals
EA have restored and released the full source code for several antique Command & Conquer games under the GPL license, i…

It’s so funny that YouTube absolutely screwed creators over by letting viewers skip over their sponsorships very easily. It’s one of those great, pro consumer choices that’s only possible because these ads don’t make google money

DOGE's next target is the CFPB, which has returned $20B to the victims of financial fraud and abuse since 2011.

Trump just fired its pro-consumer director and had his Treasury Secretary, a hedge fund manager, halt the CFPB's work.

This is a coup against the American people.

There is a pro-consumer rights movement for gaming right now called #StopKillingGames. It is currently try to pass an initiative to ensure that games that you pay for cannot be rendered completely unplayable after being sold to you, please consider supporting it.

damn, your continent has pro consumer regulation?

It's mainly because Steam is the only major pro-consumer company in gaming right now

basically every pro-consumer regulation we have is on the chopping block and it is very frustrating to see normal people parrot this sort of “regulatory overreach” language when almost every individual regulation that gets rolled back is immensely popular on its own

This picture of Shuhei Yoshida and Adam Boyes from Tokyo Game Show is making the rounds. Seemingly mocking current anti-consumer PlayStation for killing the philosophy behind their once famous pro-consumer mockery of Xbox regarding physical game sharing.

There are so many genuinely anti consumer practices that need to be targeted.
Going after Valve when they're one of the most pro consumer studios in the world is so ridiculous.

Go after just about any other game/tech company and you'll find things that genuinely need fixing.

As is, this is mid AF

Pro-tip: if you don't want consumer blowback, don't be anti-consumer. 💿 @playstation.com

Pro Tip: if you don’t want to participate in a consumer boycott, then quietly don’t participate in a consumer boycott. Don’t throw up your hands and loudly shout about how they’re “pointless,” because:
A: they’re not pointless
B: you sound like an asshole

Thats weirdly pro consumer. What are they up too 🤨

Do you think anyone in Trump’s bubble is ever brave enough to suggest that he do one pro-consumer thing? Or does he think unwinding a few of his anti-consumer moves is enough.
