I have watched a lot of conversations here and eslewhere about the importance of harm reduction and it has been continually hand waved and ignored in the pursuit of other goals. If anti-racism isn't part of modern progressiveism it's regressive.

Why is it so hard for some people to imagine that 1. Progressive Christians exist & are sincere in both their progressiveism & their Christianity & 2. A person can be sincerely religious AND respect the separation of church & state & we need that modeled for people.

This is exactly why I keep The Sheriff(TM) in frame. It's kind of a reverse dogwhistle. I've always had a disdain for people who flagrantly virtue signal or do performative progressiveism for kudos, but I understand that I gotta do something as since I sometimes get mistaken for something I'm not.
