Yeah. I wonder how much of that is a mad scramble to the Internet reaction to QuantumMania which, since it didn’t have a standard theatrical release, they had no other feedback on really. No “average joe movie goer” rating. Then Majors turned out to be a creep and it was just easier to scrap Kang

That sure is some slog with a few that aren't quote as good as you'd remember (still better than any movie I could make) except quantummania...I could certainly make something better than that 🙂

yeah although they had shown that Kang seemed to be an exception when in Quantummania (IIRC) thousands of Kangs were all played by Majors (in different outfits but otherwise identical).

Not unrelated that Quantummania didn't do well I'm sure, either commercially or critically, though reviewers did frequently cite Majors Kang as one of the stronger points IIRC

Quantummania. I was so annoyed because it's a solid movie for the 1st 2/3 then they failed the last third because they didn't want to make it dark and wanted to keep Paul Rudd around. It makes no sense thematically or storyline wise
fun question: what’s the maddest you’ve ever been leaving a movie theater? not necessarily worst movie you’ve seen, but the one that just pissed you off the most. mine is Batman v Superman

It’s by far the worst thing the MCU has produced and that’s saying a lot when you consider Love & Thunder and Quantummania and Iron Man 3 all exist

Ich verstehe ja den Take, dass "Speed Racer" von den Wachowskis seiner Zeit vorraus war. Aber um wie viel? Wir müssten doch jetzt nur noch solche Filme im Blockbuster Kino haben. Aber selbst die Superheldenfilme, die man gern zum Vergleich ranzieht, sind gemäßigt. "Quantummania" wurde abgelehnt.
