We are a golden retriever and a cat, so we have daily communication differences. What we have found is dance bridges the gap and grounds us in a common language. It's an alternative therapy method that pairs beautifully with traditional therapy.

If you studied #relationshipscience in the 1970s odds are you focused on interpersonal attraction. Look at the quote from Levinger (1980): initial attraction was where the action was in rel't science and within social psychology in particular. Now attraction is a small area outside of ev psych.

The 1980s was a wild west of theory and psych constructs in #relationshipscience. Everybody *knew* what love is, and what commitment is; only when defining these constructs, and how they presumably fit together theoretically, did people realize they all knew different things. Enter Bev Fehr, 1988.
