What you fail to understand is that avoiding potholes is an individual responsibility that the state cannot be involved with, whereas roadcones are a tyrannical impingement on our civil liberties and freedom to move.

Got in a bit of a car accident this afternoon and the people who bought us blankets and jackets and love and the roadworkers who called the police and ambulance, set up roadcones and swept the road and the lovely paramedics were all amazing (we're ok, just a bit battered). So a medal for them!
