I actually dabbled on the idea of romantacy in my book. Well there's at least one story that comes closest. It's about a couple who are of different races and it goes on how they spend their average day together. I wrote more as a slice of life than a romantic story.

2/2 My main complaint was the character assassination of Azriel and the whole 'we have to keep X (and Y, and Z!) secret from everyone' thing, which just leads to more problems. Everyone feels 15 years old in these* books.🤨

I feel like BookTok is accelerating the death of reading fads. The Indigenous romance fad (ugh) lasted a good 15 years, "Highlanders" were the main focus for another 15. Romantacy has been tops for, what, three, four years?
