I reviewed a new apple to me -- the Star Lady, or Api Etoile, or Funfeckapfel -- and it looks like a Super Mario power-up.

And no, I don't know why Bluesky refuses to preview images from my posts anymore, it's very annoying.

Something I ponder a lot is the oft-discussed importance of like opening weekend for so much media... a lot of algoslop on yt etc is all about just being what floods the new releases page. Sometimes I feel like even being truly random samplings may be more interesting from a systematic point of view

The original original thesis was just keep dropping fire and sauce samplings, the idea being give out enough free fire so when it comes to a $15-$20 movie ticket…it an issue. You got more than ur money’s worth and the movie was fire. 🤷‍♂️ made sense in theory 🤷‍♂️
