Premiers Smith and Moe reject Elon Musk's separatist comments
Alberta Premier Danielle Smith and Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe have publicly rejected Elon Musk's recent comments suggesting that Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Quebec should separate from Canada. Musk made these remarks on social media platform X, following a post from prediction market platform Polymarket about Quebec independence. In his posts, Musk stated that Quebec should separate and that Alberta and Saskatchewan would be 'better off' if they also separated. Moe responded simply with 'No' to Musk's post, while Smith addressed the issue during a speech to the Leduc, Nisku and Wetaskiwin Chamber of Commerce. Smith emphasized that remaining within Canada is the best path forward for Alberta, stating that 'the fight to make Canada work for Alberta is producing results' and that 'our best days are still ahead, as a strong Alberta within a united Canada.' She also mentioned that Alberta will hold a referendum on October 19 regarding whether the province should remain part of Canada or begin the legal process for independence. Smith's government had previously announced the referendum following petitions from grassroots organizations that gathered over 700,000 signatures. Moe, while supporting Alberta's right to hold the referendum as 'following the law,' has previously stated that Saskatchewan is not interested in separation, saying at a Western Premiers' meeting in May that 'We support a strong and growing province of Saskatchewan with the united nation of Canada.' Musk, who has a history of commenting on Canadian politics, has previously expressed support for Alberta independence and made controversial remarks about Canada being 'not a real country' in a deleted post. The article notes that the Parti Québécois recently won a minority government in Quebec, less than two weeks before Alberta's referendum.

But hey, keep being a prick & talking about it.
All they’re doing is boosting the opposition since it’s now “outsiders” who want to break us up.

More and more, the framing of being pro separatism is being seen as traitorous & as an attack by outside forces, only strengthening Canada overall!
There are less than 10-15% pro separatists in Quebec and Alberta, they will never be able to split from Canada because it isn’t their land to take, we live on treaty land, and these pricks from the US want us broken up in pieces to take Canada. Stand united and protect our country together

Premier Danielle Smith condemns separatists' proposal to offer U.S. access to Alberta's water and resources
Premier Danielle Smith of Alberta has criticized the idea of separatists offering the United States government access to fresh water and resource royalties in exchange for support in establishing an independent Alberta. The comments came after a Globe and Mail report revealed that Alberta separatists met with U.S. State Department officials in Washington in late 2025, discussing potential support for Alberta's independence. Smith called the proposal 'absurd' and 'ridiculous,' emphasizing that such decisions should be made by Albertans, not by separatist groups without authority. She stated, 'It's a decision that Albertans would make, and I don't think Albertans would support it.' The separatist movement, led by figures like Dennis Modry of the Alberta Prosperity Project (APP) and Mitch Sylvestre, has denied claims that water or oil access was discussed during the meetings. Sylvestre, who attended one of the three meetings, clarified, 'We have no authority to do any of that. We're not in government. We can't go down there and have that conversation.' The Premier also addressed concerns about foreign interference, noting that the U.S. government should deal with elected Canadian governments, including Alberta's. Meanwhile, mayors of Calgary and Edmonton expressed worries about the referendum on Alberta's future, with Edmonton Mayor Andrew Knack warning that the situation could lead to continued division and potential foreign interference, especially given past comments by U.S. President Donald Trump about Canada. Knack urged Albertans to vote in the upcoming referendum, stating, 'If there's one good thing about this ridiculous story — I can't even believe that's happening — is that hopefully it serves as a wake-up call to everyone in this province that you cannot be sleeping on Oct. 19.' The referendum, scheduled for October 19, asks whether Alberta should remain in Canada or begin the legal process for a binding referendum on independence. Smith has faced criticism for including this question in the referendum, though she did not directly address whether she encouraged U.S. involvement. The controversy has highlighted tensions within Alberta over its future and the role of external actors in provincial politics.

You know, the same can be said about the sniveling, gutless, treasonous pieces of shit at Rebel News -- shamelessly pimping the "Freedom Convoy" fascists and openly fundraising for those criminals, while now just as openly shilling for separatism and the Trump administration.

Fuck those people.
What’s Jim Elliott got to say? Hmmmm , yep sums it up nicely.
