And for the 13th creature of the #SillyBestiary, I call the Pumpkin King!
Yeah, I know, not a real creature, but it was also my Halloween card this year.
#vectorart #digitalart #pumpkinhead #ghost #halloween
Digital vector art of a pumpkin headed character, wearing a dark riding coat. The bright orange pumpkin is engraved with a big dopey smile and its eyes look at the spectator. There is small Will-o'-the-wisp getting out of its mouth and greenish spirits are coming out of the hole on the top of the pumpkin: a bat, a skull, cats, ghosts. The back ground is a dark night with stylized fog

The #sillyBestiary is now as complete as it had been for the last... uh... 6 years.
What now ?
It was a project who lasted 4 years and that I eventually stopped, mainly because I was getting disgusted with the running art theft at the time, especially with the unicorn, the qilin and Quetzacoatl.

For the 8th Creature of the #SillyBestiary, here is the glamorous mermaid ! As in fish woman, not bird woman.
Fun fact! She nearly was drawn as a blond and pink skinned pin-up, but in the end, I went with the more fishy color palette.
#creature #mermaid #digitalart #vectorart #fantasy #folklore
Digital vector art of a mermaid, for once in full body, not just a floating head ! She is a blue skinned woman, with a fish tail instead of her legs and long dark blue flowly hair. She is holding her hands together and her mouth is wide open on her pointy teeth, as if she was singing. She has no nose, but just nostrils on her face and fins instead on ears. Her eye is half closed, giving her a seductive look, if she wasn't doing such a dopey face. The background is undersea, with yellow sands and blue water with a few ray of light shining down. There is always a big anchor behind the mermaid.

I'm a big fan of mythologies but my lack of respect for magical creatures and divinities will earn me some divine thunderbolt one day.
Behold : The Silly Bestiary, a series of illustrations depicting said creatures, in the most undignified possible way.
#digitalart #unicorn #sillybestiary
Digital flat art of a unicorn head and neck floating in the sky (no gore, it's more heraldic than butchered) . Her body is light blue, her mane rainbow colored and floating behind her, her horn an immaculate white... And her eyes globulous, her mouth opened in a goofy smiling way with big square donkey teeth. This ain't your dainty elegant medieval unicorn, guys.
