I'm thinking these may be Vineyard aka Striped Snails, Cernuella virgata, that have climbed up dead stems of Hedge Mustard, Sisymbrium officinale, but why? Aestivation, somehow conserving moisture, but so conspicuous. 🤔Biggleswade Common yesterday.

De Veenkade in Den Haag staat vol met de zeer zeldzame brede raket (Sisymbrium irio).
'Irio' is bij Plinius de naam van één of andere plant - misschien wel deze! De herkomst van de naam is verder onbekend.

The only thing I can think of for your brassica is Hedge Mustard Sisymbrium officinale - nothing much else fits that combination of dissected upper leaves, short linear pods and hairiness. Does that fit the habitat? It likes bare/disturbed ground.

Prachtig grote Hongaarse raket (Sisymbrium altissimum) in 2e Daalsebuurt, Utrecht
Sisymbrium officinale, die Weg-Raupe. Mal wieder was heimisches. Gilt als Wildkraut. 37 Wildbienenarten, 6 Raupen und neun Käferarten gefällt das. Die Pflanze ist anspruchslos und auf verschiedenste Arten essbar. Als Heilpflanze ist sie schleimlösend und hilft bei Hals- und Rachenentzündungen.
