Our district (Arlington Va) probably has the most helicopter parents per capita of any district in the country, but even here the consensus was pretty emphatic about 'thou shall keep snow days holy and sleddy'

All humor aside, forcing kids to jump on zoom instead of taking a snow day is deliberately zeroing out one of the greatest joys of childhood. Borderline child abuse, if you ask me.
Some of you children may be wondering, “What about sleeping in and sledding?” Well, I’m here to ask, “What about honoring the responsibilities of your schoolwork regardless of bomb cyclones and ice-sheeted roads?

Vor der Grundschule wird das nix mit dem Drachensteigen. Erst dann ungefähr konnten wir tatsächlich Spaß daran haben.
Und man braucht absolut idiotensichere Drachen, die auch bei wenig Wind stabil in der Luft liegen.
Ich kann die von Sleddy empfehlen.
Vor der Grundschule wird das nix mit dem Drachensteigen. Erst dann ungefähr konnten wir tatsächlich Spaß daran haben.
