One of my favourite things to do as a GM is spend a few sessions building up the BBEG of a campaign, showing them to be deplorable and vicious, while at the same time planning how they justify their actions and motives to the player characters

feeling conflicted about solo/smallteam devs using Ai for things like item icons or even textures, bc i know what it's like to have no resources/money for things you want to do.

Do Not misread this, i have no love for slop grifters, small and especially the "big guys" who do have the funding.

3pm Saturday is the "traditional" time for football and the theory was if people could watch $BigTeam on TV they wouldn't go see $SmallTeam live. I can do you 15 minutes on why I disagree with this but the law persists.
It's the nearest thing to our version of your market lockouts.
